New Editorial Print Feature in Today's Bride Spring 2020 Issue

I'm tickled pink that the latest Today's Bride is out in stores and on shelfs. I'm thrilled that I have a four page editorial, titled "Pretty Pastels"in the issue. This my second appearance in the magazine. The feeling is nothing short of amazing to see your work in print. Every time I pass a shelf with the magazine, I get that happy feeling like "Wow,I was a part of that!". One of my take time for myself rituals in my twenties was to buy a few magazines, go to a local coffeehouse, and take my leisurely time going through the articles. I eagerly looked for the new issues of my favourite magazines on the shelf. I studied the photography. I fell in love with the work of Irving Penn and Arthur Elgort, Herb Ritts, and other photographers work.

I love doing editorials.I love the whole process. It's great to discover new local vendors with unique and handmade products. I enjoy supporting their businesses and making new friendships. These projects give me the opportunity to creatively extend myself and hone in on details. I always strive to learn something new each time I'm in the studio. I shot this at Demi Studio in Toronto. It's an interesting open concept studio that offers several different creative sets within the one space.

This feature was a really a great collaboration between vendors. I knew that I wanted a custom dramatic silk flower headpiece that provided options for the wearer. My lovely friend Antonia from https://www.thelovedone.ca/ executed my vision to perfection. I'm looking forward to creating more in 2020 with her.
